I slept really good last night, so good that I was incredibly groggy when I woke up at 8am. But, I was awake immediately once I saw culf had posted this. Oh, isn't it nice that she has internet again? :)

It had been over a week since my last trip and with Harry well adjusted to his new home, I thought I'd sneak out earlier this afternoon and try and do a little writing. It looks like my World Series Champions may have snapped their June slump after sweeping the Mets this weekend. For once we had good starting pitching and Jimmy Rollins was hitting like the MVP he used to be. Thank god. After going losing 12 of 15 before this series we nearly lost 1st place in the NL East. So, my mom and I are going to the Phillies game today. I didn't realize until Saturday that it's a 7pm game. I kept thinking it was earlier, like 5pm. I don't know why. I got a free copy of Galaxy Quest at work on Friday. We got a box of free DVDs to raffle off to the extras, mostly crap like all four seasons of The Hills, some Comedy Central stand-up specials with comedians I've never heard of, and too many copies of Hotel for Dogs, but there were a few Galaxy Quest's in there, so my boss let me take one. Although the overtime pay would have been nice, I'm quite content with having my Saturday off, like normal. A trip to the bank, followed by a nice, long stay at Starbucks, and a trip to BBY (as a customer! and not my store, the other one), are in order.

Well, the weekend was somewhat relaxing. I made it to Starbucks both Saturday and Sunday, always a plus. Babysitting went well last night. No major issues with the kids and I got Pizza Hut pizza and cinni-stixs and $50.
